Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Mustarshid billah (AH 512-529 / AD 1118-1135) and his heir Abu Jaʿfar, ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh / waḥdahū lā sharīka lahū / al-Mustarshid billāh / amīr al-muʾminīn’ (‘There is no deity but Allah, the One, there is no partner to Him. al-Mustarshid billah, Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic); around, ‘al-imām – Abū Jaʿfar – ʿUddat al-Dīn’ (‘Imam Abu Jaʿfar ʿUddat al-Din’ in Arabic); inner margin, ‘bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-dīnār bi Madīnat al-Salām sana sabʿ ʿashara wa khamsa miʾa’ (‘In the name of Allah.
